MysticLight > Life inside a waterdroplet.

MysticLight > Early spring Blossom. Blackacre Nature Preserve, Eastern Jefferson County.
This area still has several buildings circa 1790's, a homestead, spring, pastures, woods, etc.
Kenny and I took Ryan there to experience what is called an "owl prowl" where you basically walk a little ways into the woods and the guide calls Screech Owls. Very cool experience we were lucky enough to see a pair... male/female. We watched them for about 1/2 hour or so and it was something we all enjoyed very much.

I grew this sunflower in our backyard. Enjoyed it all summer and then snapped this photo. I entered it into the UPS photo contest and it came in second place. Also entered into the Ky State Fair. No winner there, but I really enjoyed the process.
